Weekend project
August 28, 2020Well I was wrong. Or at least not right yet. Inhave managed 2 days straight of ruler work and my hands and shoulders haven’t given up yet. I decided to push it as we are coming to the weekend so I have 2 days to recover. I am starting to get a queue of quilts so if I can progress it will be good overall. I do still need a binding day next week though. I may still intersperse it with the quilting too. I did also decide today that I really need to sort out my dining room. It has been on my adjenda but waiting on other things. I think it is time to do the best I can, and hopefully have the dinning table set up. That means I need to do a lot of clearing, put in the new bookcases and get chairs to go at the table. So today I measured up and put in an Ikea order. Tomorrow I will take some pictures of what I am working with and start sorting things out. There will be a price to this, the spare room will move a step further away. More fabric will have to go up there and for now I can’t sort and sell my surplus. On balance I would rather have one upstairs room a bit of a state than have two a mess. Especially as I see one of them so often. I may need to think about some kind of cover for the fabric shelves that are staying in the dinning room, but that can be done. Heck it is all possible, I just need to get my act together and work on it. I am going to try to not overdo things too badly, I want to get lots of quilting done next week.
