June 23, 2006The nudes are well on their way to being finished now. I have 4 of the 6 sleeves on, one top and bottom on each of three panels. I’ve even put on one of the labels. I have to admit hand sewing is not my strong suit. I can make it look good but it takes me a long time and makes my shoulder ache. Still I’ve got the evening off. I am going out for dinner. Rather good planning, I can let my shoulders rest ready to finish the sleeves and labels tomorrow.
Thank you for your comment about my beach series. I’m greatly impressed with your Baltimore Beauty … I like how your mind works and can almost imagine the stir she’ll create among the the traditional Baltimore quilts. I can hardly wait to see photos of your nudes. I’ll be back … again … and again …
I get whole extra concern when I enter shows, ‘is this the show where they lynch me?’ feeling. It’s a shame Robin didn’t have time to make his idea. He thought of the art on the nose of military planes and wanted to do that.
