I am very impressed with the camera man who managed to get this footage. Did I mention how much I dislike cameras?

There are more festival of quilts videos on their web site.

Wow, if someone can figure out how to eat pretension I know a way we can feed the whole world!

  2. ferret says:

If you can work out a way for people to eat it, I will provide. Sadly I can't see it working but do let me know.

  3. ferret says:

I should add, if you think that is pretentious, you should hear the words I get asked to say.

  4. I viewed the video early this morning and was so impressed that I called my DH to come and see it too – well done!

    Great Stuff.

I think your anonymous poster may need to figure out what pretension means before attempting to figure out a means to feed the world with it.

If the world could be fed on cowardly anonymous internet snarkiness though, well, then we could be on to a good thing ;)

Hush now, Anonymous Internet Coward. Grown-ups are talking…

Great video, Ferret. It came out really well.

  9. Redwitch says:

Very interesting video, only hugely talented people provoke small-minded anonymous comments ;)

  10. Lesley says:

I agree with Redwitch you are a very talented quilt artist. Cowards hide behind anonymity.

  11. Lana says:

You might dislike cameras but it doesn't come across that way. Funny what we can put up with when we're discussing something we're passionate about. Maybe there's a quilting DVD in your future?

And as for feeding the world, let's get Bob Geldof onto it…

  12. Penny says:

It's a great video – it sounds just like you do, when you are talking about quilts.

  13. Pete says:

Ah, anonymous, I think I see your mistake: pretension is when the person TALKING doesn't understand what is being said.

You know, just like you when you used the word "pretension".
