Preparing

I guess a lot of people are preapring today, preparing for parties, preparing for a new year and preparing for a new them. I have also been preparing but mostly more mudane things. Preparing quilt designs, preparing next weeks menu and the stock for Thursdays soup and preparing for a new arrival.

Hopefully tomorrow we will pick up a new four footed family member. Hopefully we have everything prepared for them. Hopefully the heating in their room will keep working and hopefully they will be very happy here. Hopefully the cats will forgive us sooner rather than later.

I guess I can claim to be prepared and hopeful for the new year.
