Motley and pot

June 26, 2011

We made it to the finals despite all the problems so we get to come home with a trophy. Unforunately the car couldn't manage the steps to the podium so he had to pose in front of it. Tet lost out in the final to Kevin and the Toyota Soarer but I think we can let him off, it was good tight race. Just time to tidy up, stow everything and get stuck on the motorway.

  1. Congratulations! Another trophy to add to your stash – do you have the racing and quilting ones displayed separately or together? :-)

We display them all together, but we need a proper trophy place now as the shelf has been over full for a while. My door of ribbons is getting hard to add to as well, but I can't see a sensible way to extend that.

  3. Mine are just in a heap – the ribbons that is. Pots are mostly on top of kitchen cabinets. So glam!

Have just spotted your e mail address on the message Jane sent me re Quilt Expo 2012, Viville. I'm assuming your going too? I'll be there trading. Taking an good friend with me to help out (also with the driving) and we are planning to use it as the start of a road trip up to Luxembourg. He's got to learn a bit about the fabrics first though. Might see if I can get him to come down to FoQ for the Friday.

I did keep mine in a box for a while, but then I just forgot about them.

  5. Penny says:

    Congratulations.
